On Santorum

October 5, 2006 at 8:26 pm (Humor, Politics)

Arguably the most radical right-wing nutbag in the federal government, Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, has a section on his website called “I heard it around the water cooler,” where he attempts to dispel misconceptions about his 18th century approach to governance, such as the silly notion that he equates women who have abortions with slave owners.  In fact, he thinks women who have abortions are worse than slave owners. Scroll down about 2/3 if you think I’m exaggerating: “even the slaveholder did not have the unlimited right to kill his slave.”

I thought it would be interesting to ask about something I heard around the water cooler, so I just sent off this email to info@ricksantorum.com:

I heard it around the water cooler that the word “Santorum” is a euphemism for a mixture of human fecal matter and synthetic lubrication, resulting from two homosexual men engaging in anal sex. How does the Senator feel about that? Does he have any intention to change his name, so that a less repugnant image comes to mind whenever people hear the word “Santorum?”

I will be sure to publish their prompt response.
